Following a presentation by Co-Chair Keith Clear, the Medway Youth Trust have approved the joint partnership agreement. This is a big step forward in our work to get representation on important strategic boards, so that parents and carers help to shape the services their families receive. The board recognised the valuable contribution made and hard work undertaken by the forum. It was highlighted that parents were now volunteering to help out and some were asking to represent the forum on specific planning boards, but more assistance was required from health, education and social care to allow parents and carers to have their voices heard in those areas.
